Algselt postitas: Maku
Algselt postitas: Maku Mäletan, et üks inimene kunagi rääkis mulle õhutorustiku suuruse arvutamisest. Kuna nüüd olen ise hakanud sellele rohkem mõtlema, siis oleks tarvis teada, mis põhimõtetel tegelikult õiget sisselaske ruumala arvutada. Loogiliselt võttes käib see käsikäes õhukogusega, mis peab torudest läbi jooksma. Üks lollikindlamaid lahendusi on dyno.
17-11-05 I have an ABY, pauter rods, fordged pistons(8.5-1), rs2 exhaust cam, running K27, tubular manifold, 3in exhaust(1free flow silencer) larger intercooler. Recent rolling road and mapping session got 400bhp @ 1.6bar 6500rpm and 380lbs of torque, increasing the boost past 1.6bar did not improve power just the torque(as you would expect). I was looking to run up to 2 bar (if necessary) and achieve 450+bhp. Anybody got any ideas ? 17-11-05 my cylinder head is mildly ported 3 angle valve seats etc, how important is that area in a turbo engine ? I'm looking for at least another 50bhp Cams on the other hand, i'm running an rs2 exhaust cam and standard rs2/aby inlet cam, is this the right chioce will that restrict it to 400bhp ? The engine pulls very hard to the redline 7500 and full boost is @ 3700. Max power 6530. Not sure about the turbo trying to get full spec from vendor. Even the if it was the smallest spec K27 I would have thought it would give more than 400bhp ? 18-11-05 Turbo spec #9 housing porsche flange, VT104 compressor. Still running 2.5 in intake pipes from turbo up to throttle body, possible problem ! 18-11-05 I am thinking along the lines of the cold plumbing next rolling road session I will remove the filter. Turbo in ~60mm turbo out 70mm. Yes need to get set up for exhaust gas temp. I'll get back to you on ing adv I am thinking, increase size of cold pipe work from 2.5in-3in. I already have rs2 ex cam, may be 7a Inlet cam require ? (Not 50+hp improvement tho !) 18-11-05 Quote: Originally Posted by aby1 I am sure that it is my induction side giving me a problem, turbo possibly, or pipe work which is still 2.5in steel tube over cam cover or in let cam ? I'm going to check the pressure difference between turbo outlet and intake manifold later to see if I have a restriction in the pipe work. It isn't helping performnce the long inlet track. But 500 hp is possible on standard 3b intake system. I'm running 3" inlet pipes and reversed inlet manifold. 24-11-05 Induction flow is an area I am looking at to find more power, I am changing the oulet of the I/C to 3in instead of 2.5in ( this will probably decrease the coolers efficiency but increase charge flow ). I am also changing the induction pipe to the throttle body (as this was only 2.25in) to 3in to improve flow. I guess this might show up the requirements for a bigger intercooler, however for the time being I will be running a temp sensitive I/C water spray. 29-11-05 Now at 440bhp and 420lbs torque @ 1.7 bar. I changed ABY inlet tube from 2.25in to 3in and intercooler oulet from 2.5 to 3in, a good improvement ! I think i am now at the efficient limit of the turbo and more so intercooler.
