Gauge specs and the different series
STRI Gauges are available as traditiona analog gauges, and digital stepper motor gauges where, for example, the boost gauge has it's own MAP sensor
(included). The analog gauges are simply affordable and accurate, whereas digital gauges offer the most precise readings and are self-calibrating.
DSD-CS: A clear lens digital gauge.
DSD-SLM-2: A Smoke lens digital gauge.
X-line XC-series: Clear lens analog gauges.
X-Line XS-series: Smoke lens analog gauges.
The choice between smoke and clear-lensed gauges can be hard, as on the other side smoke lens gauges are very stylish, but the downside is that in
direct sunlight reading is harder than from a clear lens unit. I would break it down to a matter of where the gauge will be installed and ofcourse
about what pleases the driver. If the gauges will be exposed to sunlight most of the time, use clear, if not, use smoke lens if it is what you
like.
STRI gauges min/max values
-Boost gauge: 735mmHg ~ 2.0 kg/cm2 (up to 3.0 kg/cm2 on digital gauges)
-Water temp gauge: 20 ~ 120C
-Oil temp gauge: 50 ~ 150C
-Oil press gauge: 0 ~ 10 Kg/cm2
-Fuel press gauge: 0 ~ 10 Kg/cm2
-EGT gauge: 200 ~ 1100C

All items sold are covered by either the manufacturers warranty, or by an additional warranty by us. In stri's case sensors are also available
separately. We will either refund or replace any items covered under warranty.
Returns are accepted for unused items in original packaging. The customer is responsible for shipping charges in such a case.
Payments are accepted by paypal or as a SEPA transfer from euro-countries.
All stock items are shipped the same day a cleared payment has been received.

Spring greetings from Race.Fi
The spring has really started in the last few weeks in Finland, and we've done a lot of work on the suspension front.
We have had brands like Eibach, Black Diamond, D2 and OBP in our shop for years, but we got fresh 2014 lists for all of them and have now updated
around 20.000 products in our system.
The new listings allow easier browsing of products by simple dropdown lists of model and make, or properties like thickness or pcd for spacers.
The prices were also updated - like usual, in favor of our customers. We have gained a lot of volume in the last year which allows savings. These
savings are put directly in our sales prices because we want to grow even more.

We have done a lot in the past months to reduce the need for pdf- and paper catalogs. This makes things easier for us, and most importantly
our customers. Selecting products is a matter of using dropdowns very easily.
Different K&N, Eibach, D2, OBP and Black Diamond product can already be found under a page for each type of product, where selecting the correct
one is a matter of using the dropdowns. Here is a short list of the most important updates:

July suspension special
A lot has been happening over here in Finland on the suspension scene. Our shop has had quite a comprehensive overhaul on suspension listings. We are
glad to see sales to Estonia have gone up a lot since we started writing here. When time passes, we aim to get bigger and bigger and sell parts all
over Europe.
D2 coilovers from 799,00
D2 coilovers got relisted and the prices dropped on quite a bit on some models. Most street kit start from 799,00 like usual, but the real news is
that the other kits now retail at 869, 899 and similar prices which is a nice drop compared to the early listing. This is thanks to better logistics
and pricing which we will now fully abuse to your benefit. D2 coilovers are a leading brand proven in competition, so 799,00 should be close to an
ideal deal for these fully adjustable kits especially with free shipping.
Popular models are usually in stock in Finland, and other models take a week or two to arrive to us. Shipping is naturally free.

Eibach products
Eibach. Well we've been selling tons of these, and a few kits here and there to you guys in Estonia too. Eibach makes everything: springs, suspension
kits, spacers and coilovers. They got relisted a while ago, and the products are easy to select directly from the webshop.
Eibach springs
Springs come in two stages. Pro-Kits which are good with original absorbers and lower approximately 30mm, and Sportline which we suggest should be
used with performance dampers like Kyb Agx or Bilstein (available from us if neccessary). Sportline kits lower the car approx 45mm.

Eibach B12 suspension kits
Suspension kits, the B12 Pro-Kit and Sportline are real winners. They are basically a very decently priced (650 to 850 ) kit consisting of Eibach
Pro-Kit or Sportline springs, and the Bilstein B8 shock absorbers which have an upside-down design, are designed for stiffer springs and finally are
~30mm shorter than the original dampers to prevent bottoming.

Eibach coilovers
If you're after adjustable Eibach kits, the Pro-Street-S is a coilover which offers a stiff, yet comfortable ride. It's not the cheapest, but one of
the best compromises when you need height adjustability with comfort.

Spacers is the one non-spring related product Eibach makes. Every spacer Eibach makes is available from us, and listed in our webshop. They are
definitely not the cheapest spacer, but are made of quality materials and are safe for competition use. No need to worry about wheels falling off.

Hello everyone! It's been a while and a very busy year since our last post.
Our sales to Europe have tripled and it's been very nice to see increased shipments to other countries than Finland. Thanks to that, our stocks have
also over doubled and we're now working as a team of 3 full-time employees and one part-time assistant.
We've not been that busy writing over here on the forums, but instead we did take on quite a challenge by translating a lot of our website over to
english and overhauling old english content. I hope you guys like what we've dont with it.
In the past year the traditional best sellers havent changed a lot, but i'll go over them again
- We're selling quite a bunch of Quaife ATB
differentials and also have a good stock on them. They are an ideal street differential with absolutely no noises or clunks - a diff for a
gentleman.
- The Vems wideband AFR and EGT gauge as well as the new
addition, the PLX DM6 + SM-AFR kit are the most popular
sales to other EU countries. While the Vems is a comprehensive kit displaying both AFR and EGT at the same time, the PLX comes with a nice touch scree
and the new Bosch 4.9 LSU.
- In the suspension range D2's coilovers lead the way with
a ready stock of over a 100 kits in our own warehouse. Eibach
lowering springs lead the way in the daily driver suspension category. D2 kits are fully height and damping adjustable, while Eibach offer a
supreme lowering spring which retains most of the original comfor in the ProKit range.
All in all, this is a glimpse to what is going on at the moment. We're very happy to answer emails and calls in case you cant what you're looking in

Worth knowing is that orders over 400 are shipped free of charge inside the EU as long as we're not talking about special cases like engines which
need a pallet.

Davies Craig electric water pumps
One of the more recent products are the Davies Craig water pumps which are very popular here in Finland. Basically, an electric water pump can replace
the original mechanical water pump. An electric pump offers superior cooling capabilities as it can be ran at a constant rate, and the flow can be way
more than it's mechanical counterpart even at high rpm's .

Our Eibach promo goes on, as it's not a weekly, it's a "springly", hehe.
RVS is not just any motorup, it is tόv-tested and proven in real cars. It works by forming a tribocheramic coat in places where friction is present,
and that way it can restore a worn (not broken) engine back to original specs. In transmissions it reduces noises and makes shifting easier due to
better syncro work. We actually put this in our cars as well, and are pretty darn happy with it!

STRI gauges are on the weekly special this week. Just a month ago we released a new pricing for these, and now that they are on sale with 10 % off
they should be very competitively priced!
There are some analog X-line gauges in stock, but they are no longer available apart from what remains in stock. The DSD series gauges are digital
units with a stepper motor, and for example the boost gauges have their own map sensor. The gauges are available in 52 and 60 mm diamaters, and with
both clear and smoke lenses.

Today is one of the first really warm spring days, and what would be a better product to put on special than radiators!
An uprated radiators is a smart choice because it is a fact that one third of the energy from fuel burning in an engine turns into heat. Thus doubling
the horses also doubles heat loads. Combine this with some track driving, and an original radiator will be crying when trying to dissipate all the
heat generated.

Last tuesday we held our first tuner meet this year, and we got people all the way from Lahti and Helsinki. The evening was very pleasant and we had
some great machines from all three automaker-continents.

go with the same concept - we give out the drinks and snacks & everyone is welcome. These are not really commercial events - we will naturally

Weekie: Rvs products - 10 %
We have quite a hefty stock of RVS products, so we decided to put them on a weekly as well.
RVS is a proven and tested way to restore an old transmission or engine close to it's original specs. Rvs is made and designed in Finland, and has
been on the market for around 20 years. It works by forming a cheramic compund in places where friction is present. The formed compund is harderd than
steel. Real benefits are easier shifting, less noises and better compression on engines. We wouldnt recommend it for a newly built race engine, but
for daily drivers and other cars where an engine overhaul is not an option, this is a great product which gets consistent good feedback from
customers.

Powerflex bushes - 10 % on Weekie

Weekie: Mishimoto intercoolers - 10 %
Tried & tested: get a bigger intercooler! One of the more traditional and foolproof ways to gain prower is now on our weekly.

Mishimoto intercoolers come in the basic 600x300 core size as 80 or 100mm thick, but are also available in different other sizes for low & wide or
high & narrow fitments.
We also carry some nice Mishimoto t-bolt clamps and silicone connectors to get that intercooler mounted.
Allthough "what colour" is usually a joke in the car business, this is a place where colour actually has a meaning performance wise. In addition to
silver, Mishimoto coolers are available as black which dissipates heat more efficiently, and gold which - well - looks awesome =)

Lets continue the Mishimoto weekies, as this week the Mishi aluminum radiators are on a 10 % discount.

Bolt-on cooling upgrades at their best. Mishimoto rads fit perfectly in original mounts and are shipped with an uprated cap as well. These radiators
are a little thicker than stock, so in tight places a cowl or pipes might need a little adjustment, but nothing that drastic which couldnt be cured
easily.
Great quality, great prices. That is what Mishimoto is about.

Davies Craig electric waterpump is brilliant choice when you want to make sure that your cooling works for sure.
There are Davies Craig waterpumps in sizes 15-150l/min, smallest pumps are made of nylon and biggest are with strong alloy frame. You can buy the
water pump kit which contains also digital controller, which will change the blower and pump speed when needed. Of course there is only a water pump
available, if the controller is already acquired.
Davies Craig water pumps has been used in motorcycles and even in some lawn mowers, actually it goes everywhere which has a water cooling!
There are also available Mishimoto coolers and Red Line Water Wetter, which can low the water temperature even 18c degrees.

Weekly: Cusco differentials -10%
Cusco makes one of the best differentials for track use!
Cusco list two main types, MZ and RS diffs. There are also three different ramp angles available, 1 way, 1.5 way and 2 way. Ramp angles means the
locking direction of differential and needs to be selected according to usage, for example different track uses.
MZ models are recommended for only the track, because the lock has a small preload even without any torque - so its very loud at the street use. RS
models are mainly for track use, but this can also be a compromise for sreetracer, because it does not have so much preloud.

Merry xmas & happy new year
Allthough the xmas period is one big sales boom, we decided that this week will be dedicated to friends, relatives and why not a little garage life as
well. For this reason we dont have a weekie this week, but instead wish everyone a very merry xmas and a happy new year!
2017 opening hours
As Riku goes to the army in early January, we decided to change our opening hours so that late pickups are possible, but a constat 10 to 6 time isnt
the only option of working hours. With a bigger crew we could have a flexible timetable alternating with 8 to 4 and 10 to 6.

burning fuel is transformed to heat, which means that doubling HP will also double the heat load of an engine.

Red Line Water Wetter and Amsoil Dominator Coolant Boost because they
increase heater efficiency for hotter cabin air.

coolant fluid increasin cooling. Having a more efficient cooling effect on the interior heater core directly means hotter air.

Powerflex polybushes are relatively easy to update when changing other suspension parts like coilovers. Good bushes ensure a smooth and balanced ride
when all aspects are up to date. Powerflex bushes are available in street versions, and race versions which are very hard and only recommened for
track-only cars.
Polybushes offer an undebated benefit: They replace worn rubber bushings with relatively the same price, still insulate noise and last as long, or

Weekie: NGK and Brisk plugs -10 %
Misfires and backfires are easily cured with some quality spark plugs. NGK and Brisk plugs are on a -10 % promo 17. - 24.2.2017.
Briskin plugs are available as iridium, lgs triple tip, turbo and silver
models.
Iridiums are ideal for turbo engines, lgs for direct ignition stock boost engines and silver or turbo for demanding applications like E85 or very high
boost levels.

applications as they are "the only working plug" on some applications.

Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit and Sportline suspension kits -10 %
The best fixed-lowering kit is on promo this week. Eibach B12 bits combine Bilstein B8 shocks with Eibach Pro-Kit or sportline springs.
One way to see whether a product is good is to check whether customer buy it again. Eibach B12 kits are just like this. Many customers get a kit for
their new car as well which tells us only one thing: people are very happy with their B12 kits.

Black Diamond brakes on weekly offer -10%
Winter tires off, summer tires on. Now's the time to get brakes to put on while you're at it!
Black Diamond brake discs are phosphated black, which in addition to looks gives a good protection against corrosion and an excellent base for paints
in case painting for extra protection is what you'd like to do.
Discs are available as drilled, grooved or combi which is both drilled and grooved. Drilling is mosltly for looks on street cars. Grooving is
effective in keeping the pad surface clean and ensures proper braking in wet conditions as well.
Black Diamond also makes brake pads and brake hoses. All products are made in England to very high standards.

Race.Fi short shifters -10 % 28.4. - 5.5.2017
Short shifters have been the word of the week as new models came in to stock. New models are available for the BMW E90 series for example, and they
are being test fitted at the moment so we know that what we sell works. The rest of the models however are on promo for the next 7 days.
If you're not interested in a career of a bus driver, a short shifter is the way to go so theatrical full-arm shifts are reduced to a comfy wrist
action shift.
Shifters are available for euro- and jap models, and there are several hundred boxes straight in our own stock. Normally priced 49, these are now on
offer at 44,10. While you're at it, you could also do an RVS treatment and change some fresh tranny oils to ease shifts.

Black phosphated Black Diamond brakes are available with drilled, grooved or both drilled and grooved combi discs, where the grooved version is the
most sold model as a grooved disc keeps the pads clean and squealfree in wet conditions as well.
BD pads are very well suited for street and track day driving thanks to their low-dust street compound.
To finish up your brakes, braided hoses increase pedal feel compared to spongy rubber hoses.

Davies Craig electric water pumps -10 % on weekly
Polar bears have finally disappeared from the Helsinki streets, so we're pretty sure summer has finally arrived. Lets put the Davies Craig electric
water pumps on promo this time!
An electric water pump can be installed as a booster in-line with the original pump, or more commonly as a full replacement by either removing the
belt & emptying the original pump or installing a block-off plate.
The definite benefit of an electric pump is it's set rate of flow, meaning the pumped amount is just correct from idle rpm to redline conditions. A
traditional pump will spin way more than needed in cars which frequently see high rpm's.
A separate controller is also available. The controller has a temp sensor and runs the pump at the needed speeds ensuring a quick reach to operating
temperatures and avoiding so-called overcooling.
