Algselt postitas: Maku
Algselt postitas: Maku The unofficial RS6 buyers guide Suspension You will read a lot about the Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) but one thing is for certain it WILL fail! A growing majority will recommend that this be replaced by an aftermarket coil over. They are more firm than DRC and the three most common are listed below. The DRC springs are black but the coilovers can be identified by the colour of the spring but expect it to be covered in dirt! KW v3 – (yellow) v.firm, fully adjustable (but not on the car), won’t corrode Bilstein PSS9 – (blue) firm, rebound adjustable, and some corrosion issues in the past H&R – (red) lowest cost, less firm, not adjustable but may sag when fully laden
Hiljuti sõitsin kahe RS6-ga, ühel Bilstein'i coilid (amort on väidetavalt Bilstein B16), teisel originaal vedrud ja Bilstein'i B8 Audi S6-le mõeldud amordid. Vahe on tõesti suur. Edit: Bilstein B8 Shocks have the same quality and damping power as the Bilstein B6 Shocks but with shortened piston rods. Bilstein B8 Shocks are ideal when used with a lowering spring of more than 40mm. The gas pressure technology of the Bilstein B8 shocks range offers a marked improvement in safety and sportiness. An excellent choice to uprating your vehicles suspension. http://www.europerformance.co.uk/blog/bilstein-b8-shocks/ Idee kohaselt peaks RS6-l saama kasutada nii B6-e, kui ka B8-t. BILSTEIN B6 SPORTS SHOCK ABSORBERS (FRONT) Bilstein B6 Shock Absorbers - if you expect more damping power from your shock absorber, but dont want to opt for an all out sports model, the Bilstein B6 Shock absorber is the ideal solution. The gas pressure technology of the Bilstein B6 range offers a marked improvement in safety and sportiness. These shock absorbers can be used in conjunction with your standard height springs or a lowering spring of upto 40mm. If you are planning on lowering more than 40mm we recommend to use a shortened shock absorber such as the Bilstein B8 Shock absorbers. An excellent choice to uprating your vehicles suspension. The product benefits at a glance: - Increased power reserves and service life, even when pulling transporters and trailers or during frequent journeys with loads. - Optimum adhesion and enhanced lane change stability in both day-to-day and extreme situations. - Marked improvement in safety and performance without additional spring changes (standard springs can be used). - BILSTEIN gas pressure technology. - BILSTEIN mono-tube/Upside-Down technology, made in Germany. - Road and track tested by BILSTEIN for fine tuning. - No German TUV registration required. If you are going to be buying some lowering springs as well why not purchase a full suspension kit such as the Bilstein B12 Suspension kit BILSTEIN B8 SHORTENED SHOCK ABSORBERS (FRONT) Bilstein B8 Shock Absorbers dampers have the same quality and damping power as the Bilstein B6 Shock Absorbers but with shortened piston rods. These shock absorbers are ideal when used with a lowering spring of more than 40mm. The gas pressure technology of the Bilstein B8 range offers a marked improvement in safety and sportiness. An excellent choice to uprating your vehicles suspension. PERFORMANCE YOU CAN FEEL AND SEE. What lowering or sport springs are to aesthetics, BILSTEIN B8 is to performance! The product benefits at a glance: - Shortened high-performance shock absorbers for virtually every lowering spring set and series production sport vehicles. -Sports settings with high level of comfort. -Marked improvement in safety and performance with additional spring changes (lowering). -Precision handling and optimised vehicle control. -BILSTEIN gas pressure technology. -BILSTEIN mono-tube/Upside-Down technology, made in Germany. -Road-tested by BILSTEIN and fine-tuned. If you are going to be buying some lowering springs as well why not purchase a full suspension kit such as the Bilstein B12 Suspension kit which is complete with the Bilstein B8 Shock Absorbers and a set of Eibach lowering springs. Täiendavalt veel nii palju, et B8 amorti päris tavaamordiga võrrelda ei saa. Tegemist on ikkagi üpris jäiga amordiga, just tavaamordiga kõrvutades. Positiivne on B8 puhul see, et mitmetes olematutes teekonarustes ei käi teravat pauku, erinevalt B16-ga. Samas istudes B8 pealt mõnda tavaautosse, näiteks X5-e või C6-e, on kohe tunda tavaauto sujuvust ja pehmust.
